Hotel Edelweiss Betriebs GmbH strives to make the Hotel Edelweiss website accessible in accordance with the Austrian Accessibility Act (BaFG).
This statement applies to the website edelweiss-arlberg.at, including its German and English subpages, as well as the integrated inquiry, reservation, and booking functions.
Service Description
The website provides information about Hotel Edelweiss in Zürs at Arlberg, its rooms and suites, offers, as well as restaurants and bars, the Capri Spa, events, and winter holidays at Arlberg.
Users can view stays and offers, make non-binding inquiries, and book online. Additionally, table reservations can be made and vouchers ordered.
The content can be used with current desktop and mobile browsers and, in principle, with assistive technologies. Information and support for booking are also available by phone or email.
Compliance Status
This website is currently partially compliant with the requirements of the Accessibility Act. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines WCAG 2.2 at conformance level AA and the relevant requirements of the European standard EN 301 549 serve as technical guidance.
The partial compliance results from the not yet fully accessible content and functions described below.

Content Not Fully Accessible
Booking and Inquiry Process
The online booking and inquiry process is provided via external booking software. Individual controls, selection fields, and status, error, and validation messages may not yet be consistently optimized for screen readers or other assistive technologies.
The removal of barriers within this application is sometimes only possible in cooperation with the external provider.

Webcam
The live webcam integrated into the website is provided by an external provider. The controls and media content within it may not be fully operable with a keyboard or screen readers. An equivalent textual representation of the current live image is not currently available.
Sliders and Image Galleries
For individual sliders and image galleries, the current image change and position within the image sequence may not be fully output by all screen readers.
Automatically Played Content
Individual decorative videos are played automatically and repeatedly without sound. These videos do not currently always have a pause option. They do not convey essential information that is not also available via text or static images.
Disproportionate Burden
Currently, no content is exempt from accessibility requirements on the grounds of disproportionate burden.

The assessment was based on a self-assessment and a technical review of selected pages, page templates, and central functions. In particular, navigation, keyboard operation, focus management, dialogues, overlays, consent manager, and the inquiry and booking functions were considered.
