Want to work at the most legendary hotel at Arlberg? Then you’ve come to the right place. Right in the heart of Zürs. Between mountains, guests from all over the world, and evenings that rarely end on time. This is where we work. And where we live. This could be your place.
Our main role in winter is that of hosts, and together with Ingo, the flamingo, we take care of our employees’ concerns.
Karl is the first point of contact for the entire F&B area, which is growing annually at the Edelweiss. With his proven hands-on mentality, he appears wherever guests and staff appreciate an extra hand. He also coordinates all technical and structural matters, and when he needs a change of pace, you can find him as the DJ (P)resident at Zürserl.
Irmgard takes care of the Rooms Division and the paperwork – accounting, payroll, billing, contracts, agreements. To ensure creativity isn’t neglected, she also handles marketing.
We have been working together for over 25 years, more than 20 of them at Arlberg. Our paths crossed in Kühtai. Together, we have successfully filled many hotels, introduced unconventional ideas, and turned things around. At the Tannbergerhof, you had to queue to get into the disco, nearby Warth and Steffisalp were still far away without a ski connection, and the legendary Hotel Flexen in Zürs was even torn down after us 😉 So we can say that our experience ranges from pre-opening to demolition.

Sabine is Edelweiss; having been with the hotel for over 20 years, she knows every corner, every guest, and all the quirks of the house. Originally from Styria, she lives in Zürs with her family almost year-round.

Approximately 2 km from the hotel, at the highest point of the Flexen Pass, lies our leased establishment, the Flexenhäusl. Our Carinthian hut host Peter runs it during the day as a classic ski stop and in the evenings, the hut transforms into a party location.
